Chris Brown Teases 2025 Tour To Commemorate 20th Anniversary Of Debut Album
https://x.com/hwloiza/status/1821073583231168848?s=46
Though Chris Brown‘s 11:11 Tour is coming to end, the crooner may be back on the road sooner than we think.
At the penultimate stop of his current tour in Los Angeles on Tuesday (Aug. 6), Brown concluded the show by saying, “See you next year.” It was a concise sentiment made quickly among his sea of thank-you’s and well wishes.
Brown stood alongside his two daughters, Royalty and Lovely, when making the subtle announcement and giving his final bow. It was a hint that he’d potentially be commemorating the 20th anniversary of his eponymous debut with a tour.
Chris Brown debuted No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart —where it remained for 104 weeks upon its release in 2005. It’s arguably one of those perfect R&B debuts, boasting features from Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, and Juelz Santana and singles such as “Yo (Excuse Me Miss),” “Poppin,” “Say Goodbye,” and “Gimme That (Remix).”
The lead single — and Brown’s debut — “Run It,” spent five weeks topping the Billboard Hot 100. It remained on the chart for a total of 38 weeks.
The LP sold 154,000 copies in the first week and also earned Breezy his first two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Contemporary R&B Album.
The 11:11 Tour felt like a culmination of Brown’s career over the past 20 years with vibrant visuals and fluid choreography that made the 35-year-old still seem like that same 15-year-old at heart.
So, a tour to commemorate his debut would make sense — similar to Usher’s one night only Confessions performance at ESSENCE Fest and Jill Scott’s Who Is Jill Scott? Words And Sounds Vol. 1 anniversary tour.

I think most of his fans were speculating this based on the tour he’s having now and the setup.
Good for him! Sold out tour and all the money goes to him and ready for another one to celebrate 20 years after everything he’s gone through and he’s still on top. Insane!

The only way I'd be interested in that tour, would be if it was a "I've apologized to Rihanna, we're doing a co-headline tour" package.
That would give me the pleasure of seeing who I really want to see, and put more people in the seats for Chris Brown. Win-win.
I didn't realize he was THAT young in 2005. Impressed actually.

Somebody here hates it when I remind people how he beat Rihanna up. He's talented, so forgive and forget.
Edit. One Chris Brown apologist on ignore.

His take home pay was 2.3 million per show on this tour that just ended. Gross 3 million a show..

Rihanna herself has moved on. We all know what he did and it was wrong. What do you want him to do now?

This is a great idea. People are very attached that album. There is a lot of nostalgia with it.

Apologize, and show he means it with a joint tour in 2025, like I said.
That makes me feel better about him, and gets Rihanna back onstage.

Ahhh, so for him to continue having a career --- oh I'm sorry make you feel better about him (as I am sure he is losing sleep that you don't) he must obey your single request? Never mind that he has already done his probation and apologised. Showing he means it is joining hands with Rihanna who has left music? It doesn't even seem like you respect Rihanna's wishes to just raise her family and be a businesswoman in peace. So what makes me believe you actually care about her if you're not listening to what she says. What if she doesn't want to get 'back onstage', huh?

You're doing way too much. And you assign much more meaning to my near-flippant post than you should have. I don't give a rat's ass about either, nor do I care what either does about anything.
